Liberty Frozen Custard – Two Thumbs Down
Kids didn’t like it after skipping out on the pub and going to get ice cream after ice skating.
But you wouldn’t know it from the pictures. They were happier about the toy store next door that we spent plenty of time in.
Ada’s Afternoon
While the rest of us napped, Ada snuck downstairs and ate about a half-pound of candy. Upon being caught, she naturally showed no remorse. She kicked and screamed on the way upstairs to be put back into bed.
Liam’s Kindergarten Orientation
When Liam was to go with a teacher to do a project while the parents listened to the principal and support staff, Liam cried. Ms. Harich took him by the hand and led him into the classroom, and by that time he was fine. When I peeked into the classroom (coincidentally Helena’s room), he was fine and was looking at some other kid that was having issues (who was on her mother’s lap). By the end of the program he was smiling while sitting on the school bus.

Helena’s Performance
Helena’s choir concert happened to be “mostly” during my prep and before I had to head over to Lake Harriet for class. She’s on the left in the light blue shirt.
She didn’t know that I was going to be there, so she was quite excited when she saw me.
