Christmas Morning

Liam and Ada were given instructions not to wake Helena up before eight and they are following orders although they are excited. Dori is still asleep, too.

IMG_20151225_072920This year Helena liked art materials, clothes, and candles, Liam wanted sports gloves, jerseys, and Magic cards, and Ada wanted more and more Barbie things.

Christmas Eve

Jeanette brought over presents for the kids

IMG_20151224_200813Jeanette got the kids nuts and a nutcracker. I think that they like cracking them more than actually eating them, though.

At Lake Harriet Upper Campus

Liam had basketball practice in the gym, but Ada and I were going to read. There is a couch there for Minneapolis Kids, but they cover everything up at night.

Well, Ada and I wanted to sit on the couch. So we took the cover off and sat down. Then we heard the janitor come by and Ada said that we might get yelled at. So we grabbed the tarp and hid underneath it while still reading on the couch. Ada thought this was very risky. But we did end up making it out of there alive.

Then she took me to her clean locker and showed me her latest poem about kiwi.
